To odpryski Festiwalu Old Jazz Meeting w Iławie. Zbyszek Jaremko, z którym poznałem się w roku roku 1966, przyjażniliśmy się i gdy zrezygnowałem z Old Timersów na rzecz ukończenia studiów bynajmniej nie muzycznych, zajął tam moje miejsce, a teraz spotkałem się po latach w Iławie, dał mnie w prezencie płytę dokumentującą fragment Jego drogi artystycznej związanej z zespołem Old Timers i Swing Session będącą zapisem programów w TV. Słuchając jej pomyślałem, że warto by Wam szanowni fani bluesa, czyli korzeni, dać trochę jego owoców, tym bardziej że są bardzo dojrzałe i smakowite. Póki co nie jest to jeszcze jazz nowoczesny, a więc może z trudem, ale zmieści się w formule Stasia audycji. Wg mnie Zbyszek Jaremko, będący w tych nagraniach jedną z pierwszoplanowych postaci jest cały czas niedoceniany w polskim jazzie, co mam nadzieję się Wam potwierdzi jak Go posłuchacie i tą audycją u Stasia wespół w zespół będziemy się starać to zaniedbanie w jakimś promilu chociaż naprawić. Od siebie mogę dodać, że ilekroć uczyłem młodych ludzi grać cokolwiek synkopowanego, to prosiłem ich aby nie wzorowali się na polskich muzykach, gdyż po co uczyć się od kopii amerykańskich legend jazzu i tworzyć kopie do kwadratu. Muzykę, którą gra Zbyszek z czystym sumieniem mogę polecić każdemu, kto chce grać jazz. To wzorzec godny wzorców amerykańskich. Ale skromny bardzo i może dlatego mało o Nim słychać.
