Od rana słucham i jestem zachwycony tą "Nawałnicą" - to nie tylko blues (riff przypominający "Mannish boy" w "Early Roman Kings") ale też rock ("Narrow way" - coś mi przypomina) i gospel ("Pay in blood"), widoczne ślady folk ("Tin angel"), mariachi oraz Tex-Mex czyli pogranicza Stanów i Meksyku ("Duquesne whistle") - prawdziwie przepiękne piosenki ze studni "American roots" świetna "Roll on John" poświęcona Lennonowi a także tytułowa "Tempest" czyli 45 wersów w 14 minut opisujących tragedię "Titanica", no i teksty - jak zawsze perełki faceta, który sporo w życiu zrobił i przeszedł ("Long and wasted years"), i teraz o tym śpiewa (ba zawsze śpiewał), i przyznam, że nawet teraz śpiewa lepiej niż jeszcze jakiś czas temu. Płyta jest znakomita, nie dziwię się, że krytycy przyznali jej gwiazdek - w Mojo pięć czyli max, w Uncut 10 na 10 - też max, a recenzent napisał (i zgadzam się z nim) - mistrzostwo, piosenki są przepełnione ciemnością, pasją i gwałtownością. Jednym słowem - samo życie; może być piękne i może być pokręcone - zależy od... no właśnie, od czego?
Polecam tę płytę nie tylko fanom Dylana (oni i tak ją kupią) ale zwłaszcza tym, którzy Go jeszcze nie poznali...
