Wszystkie plyty Jethro Tull do Thick as a Brick sa genialne, moze Benefit troszke gorszy ale i tak bardzo dobry. Do tego trzeba dodac wrecz powalajacy koncert na wyspie Wight wydany niedawno jako CD +DVD.
Pierwszy sklad JT byl wyjatkowy, Abrahams zalozyl Blodwyn Pig i nagral z nimi 2 zupelnie powalajace albumy. W 1970 odszedl basista Glen Cornick i nagral dwie genialne plyty z Wild Turkey. Zespol rozpadl sie przez Ricka Wakemana ktory zabral im wokaliste.
Jethro Tull prezentowalo dobry poziom do 1979 roku, potem bylo raczej cienko, z mala przerwa na plyte Crest of a Knave, calkiem przyzwoita z ladna piosenka Budapest w stylu Knopflera. Za ta plyte dostali grammy w kategorii metal, co dowodzi tylko kompletnego upojenia alkoholowego jury, bo metalowa ta plyta nie jest ani troche.
Pare lat temu widzialem ich w Operze Lesnej i bylo tak sobie, ale nie mozna od nich wymagac zeby wciaz grali jak w 1970, lata robia swoje.
