Witam!
Niedawno zapoznałem się z twórczością Bill'a Evans'a (konkretniej kilka początkowych płyt z lat '50 i '60) i bardzo mi się to spodobało. Chodzi o jazz z pianinem w roli głównej. Wczesne płyty Evans'a może nie bardzo podchodzą pod cool jazz, chyba są baridzje "po środku".
Jeśli chodzi o jazzowych pianistów miałem do czynienia jeszcze tylko z Jelly Roll'em Morton'em i Duke'em Elington'em. Przyznam szczerze, że klimat płyt Roll'a i wczesne nagrania Elington'a (tylko te miałem na razie możliwość usłyszeć) zupełnie nie przypadły mi do gusty. Zbyt melodyjne, "wesołe", za mało poważne, mam nadzieje że wiecie o co mi chodzi
W niedalekiej przyszłości będę chciał zaopatrzyć się w jakieś nowsze nagrania Evans'a i jakiś chłodny jazz z pianinem w roli głównej...
Tu moja prośba do Was o propozycje albumów. Mile widziane klasyczne jazzowe albumy jak i nowsze produkcje.
Na koniec chciałbym się zorientować o trochę inną sprawę. Od jakiegoś czasu intryguje mnie czy istnieją jakieś dobre albumy z pogranicza muzyki poważnej i jazzu?
Jeśli ktoś słucha podobnych klimatów to będę bardzo wdzięczny za ciekawe propozycje.
