Witam!
Wiem, że było kilka podobnych tematów, jednak nie znalazłem w nich w całości tego czego szukam.
Od kilku miesięcy zacząłem poważniej interesować się muzyką. Chodzi oczywiście o słuchanie, a nie teorie muzyki. Po prostu jakoś powoli zacząłem się "przerzucać" na jazz, blues i muzykę poważną z hip-hopu i rocka.
Jeśli chodzi o blues to na samym początku przypadł mi do gusty Sonny Boy Williamson II, potem słuchałem trochę BB Kinga, Jelly Roll Mortona, Roberta Jonhnsona.
Teraz przyszła kolej na jazz.
Na razie słuchałem trochę klasyki tzn. Milesa Davisa, Cheta Bakera, Johna Coltrane'a i kilku innych.
Teraz po kilku miesiącach zacząłem szukać jakiś wykonawców, czy albumów z muzyką spokojną, stonowaną, niebyt rytmiczną (mam nadzieje że wiadomo o co chodzi), mocno sentymentalną, wprowadzającą w stan melancholii. Nie przepadam za taką 'wesołą muzyczką'. Trudno opisać mi dokładnie to czego szukam.
Do tego lubię przede wszystkim trąbkę, potem saksofon, kontrabas, do tego jakieś spokojne pianino (nie takie jak w wykonaniu Jelly Roll'a), za śpiewem też średnio przepadam, no chyba że takie jak w wykonaniu Cheta Baker'a na płycie My Funny Valentine.
Do mojego celu poszukiwań kompletnie nie pasuje Jelly Roll, podobnie z płytkami BB Kinga które słuchałem.
Płyta Milesa Davisa, która myślałem że mi będzie pasować mianowicie The Complete Birth of Cool też średnio podchodzi pod moje oczekiwania jako całość. Oczywiście płyta jest świetna, jednak to raczej nie to czego szukam. Z tej płyty jednak 2 utwory mi mocno przypadły do gusty, tzn. Moon Dreams, Darn That Dream
Z tego co na razie słuchałem zdecydowanie najciekawszą z płyt wydaję mi się 'My Funny Valentine' Cheta Baker'a, do tego jeszcze fajna płyta 'Ronnie Earl Grateful Heart: Blues & Ballads', do tego spokojne kawałki Duke'a Ellington'a.
Prosiłbym bardziej doświadczonych o jakieś propozycje, rady jakimi wykonawcami się zainteresować. Sam oczywiście trochę szukam, jednak dość wolno to idzie.
Mam nadzieję, że nikogo nie uraziłem swoim postem, nie wygłosiłem żadnych herezji. Są to po prostu odczucie amatora po pierwszym kontakcie z jazzem.
