Krótka historia, bo każdy czasu ma mało.
Od dawna nie doświadczyłem takiej przygody. Wydarzenia, które wzbogaca i zmienia patrzenie na świat. I w cale nie musiałem udawać się w tym celu na pielgrzymkę do Indii, czy dać się porwać w Pakistanie.
Mając teraz trochę więcej czasu dla siebie zacząłem przesłuchiwać utwory z listy 500 najlepszych wg czasopisma The Rolling Stone.
I nawet nie chodzi o to, czy jakiś utwór znałem lub słyszałem, choć wiele z tej listy to dla mnie 'nowość'. Chodzi o to, że do każdego utworu jest dopisana jego historia. I tak siedząc w fotelu, wsłuchując się w słowa i czytając kontekst (a łatwo zacząć szukać dodatkowych informacji), przeżyłem ostatnie 60 lat na nowo. Poczułem się mały i głupi, zawstydzony swoją arogancją. Po ponad tygodniu, kończąc przesłuchiwać tę listę, zdałem sobie sprawę, że świat wokół mnie jest bogatszy. I tak jak z każdą wiedzą, tak i z tą przyszły obciążenia i wyzwolenia, to cieszę się, że wyszedłem z tego silniejszy.
