1. zacząłbym od sprawdzenia stanu kabli. często niedoceniany element, mający kolosalne znaczenie dla jakości brzmienia.
2. jakość połączeń w gitarze.
3. stan gniazd w gitarze, efektach i we wzmacniaczu.
4. scena - akustyka płata niezłe figle. mogłeś siebie nie słyszeć, a byłeś czytelny 20m dalej. dlatego też warto mieć akustyka i podpierać się odsłuchem (monitorem).
5. koledzy dali więcej czadu po ustaleniu głośności - częste zjawisko w młodych kapelach (każdy musi być z przodu).
6. w kolumnie wielogłośnikowej jeden z głośników (przy łączeniu równoległym) podziękował za współpracę (szczególnie istotne w końcówkach tranzystorowych).
7. stan czystości wzmacniacza w środku, lampy (o ile lampowy) - sprzęt powinien być regularnie czyszczony i sprawdzany.
