In 1980 John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd (as Blues Brothers in John Landis movie) changed the mind of one young fellow so strongly that 16 years later after years and years of searching and practicing his dream came through. Actually, not only his... In country he had never lived before... In small, beautiful Chojna town and not much bigger Pyrzyce town, Marco Meinel met a few talented Blues lovers and in 1996 together they set a band called Jaw Raw Blues Connection. Mix of imagination, charisma, skills and joy with magic of Blues let the band to play in hundreds of places in Poland, Europe and in places which can not be found on maps or even in fairy tales. They played on Canary Islands, in Germany (many times invited to "biggest blues club of northern Europe" - Meisenfrei in Bremen) and in Poland. They were awarded on many festivals: Bluesada in Szczecin, Rawskie Noce Bluesowe (Rawa Blues Nights), Ogólnopolski Festiwal Muzycznych Talentów (National Festival of Music Talents). You will never find distinction between the band and the public on the Jaw Raw concert. What you can find is the magic of Blues... you can almost touch...
