To, że blues nie jest tak trudny jak muzyka klasyczna, czy jazz, nie znaczy, że jest prosty.
Zacznijmy od tego, że ma pewne ramy, zasady, których inne gatunki nie mają. Niektóre. Taki trash metal na przykład - nieważne, jak jest zbudowany, wazne, żeby nie dało odróznić sie od siebie wykrzykiwanych/charczanych przez wokalistę słów i zeby gitara uderzała jak najmocniej, a perkusja ... musi być głosna, niekoniecznie urozmaicona.
I jest takich gatunków więcej.
Blues zdecydowanie nie jest najbardziej skomplikowany, ale i nie jest łatwy.
Co do tego, czy warto wiedzieć, na czym to polega - może nie w pełni, ale jakieś podstawy - jak najbardziej.
Nie wymagam od słuchacza znajomości tonacji utworu. Nie chcę, żeby wypisywał mi, jakiej tonacji ma być do niego harmonijka, a jakiej saksofon. Niech mi nie dzieli kawałka na takty. Twierdzę, że słuchacz powinien znać rolę pojedynczych instrumentów i wokalu w utworze, powinien czuć, czym ten gatunek rózni się od innych i powinien wiedzieć, jak do tego podejść.
Powinien wiedzieć, skąd bierze się ta muzyka i dlaczego wygląda tak, a nie inaczej.
No i dlaczego on -słuchacz- własnie tego słucha.
