Sławny reżyser i aktor - Woody Allen - wystąpi w Warszawie w roli klarnecisty bandu jazzowego. Koncert odbędzie się 28 grudnia w Sali Kongresowej w Warszawie.
Woody Allen zagra z zespołem The Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band. Reżyser wciela się w rolę jazzmana już ponad 30 lat. Artysta współpracował najpierw z The New Orleans Funeral and Ragtime Orchestra, z którymi występował w nowojorskim Michael's Pub w latach 70. Później razem z Preservation Hall Jazz Band w Nowym Orleanie nagrał muzykę do filmu "Śpioch".
Allen jazz zawsze traktował bardzo poważnie i gdy próby czy koncerty kolidowały z pracami nad filmem - wolał postawić na muzykę. I osiągnął sukces - Jim Robinson, puzonista Preservation Hall Jazz Band, porównał ponoć styl gry Allena ze stylem George'a Lewisa. Na scenie Allen bardzo też skromnieje, dlatego trudno oczekiwać popisów i wygłupów podczas koncertu.
