16 maja swoją premierę w naszym kraju miał najnowszy obraz
Martina Scorsese Rolling Stones w blasku świateł. Pod okiem tego wybitnego reżysera nad filmem pracowało aż 9 operatorów m.in. Robert Richardson (dwa Oscary za "JFK" i "Awiatora") czy John Toll (Oscar za "Braveheart"), a liczba kamer, które za sprawą Scorsese śledziła każdy, najmniejszy nawet ruch muzyków na scenie Beacon Theatre jeszcze przed rozpoczęciem zdjęć do "dokumentu" była powodem poważnej sprzeczki między reżyserem a Mick'em Jagger'em.
W oczekiwaniu na film, którego jeszcze nie dane mi było obejrzeć nabyłem płytę. I raz kolejny zakochałem się w muzyce tych bądź co bądź starszych już panów. To nic, że Jagger nie jest najlepszym śpiewakiem na ziemi, że Richards wyjeżdża z fałszywym riffem właśnie wtedy, gdy Ronnie Wood zaczyna solówkę, to przecież "tylko rock'n'roll..."! Absolutnie fantastyczny koncert, na który specjalnie przygotowane zostało odświętne "menu", a na scenie pojawili się znamienici goście: Buddy Guy, Christina Aguilera i Jack White III. Stonsom towarzyszyli także już zwyczajowo nietuzinkowi muzycy w osobach m.in. Darryl'a Jones'a (bas), Chuck'a Leavell (instrumenty klawiszowe) czy Bobby Keys'a na saksofonie.
Gorąco polecam płytę i zachęcam do zapoznania się ze zwiastunem filmu, po obejrzeniu którego, chyba nikogo nie będzie już trzeba namawiać na wizytę w kinie...
