Jakiś czas temu pisałem, że po wnikliwym zapoznaniu się z najnowszą płytą JB napiszę kilka zdań. ,,Driving Towards The Daylight" to bardzo dobra płyta. Uważam, że JB to wybitny gitarzysta - nie ma co dyskutować na ten temat - który nigdy nie będzie moim numerem 1. Mam większość płyt Artysty (pozostałe tez kupię w miarę możliwości finansowych). Żałuję, że nie byłem na żadnym koncercie Joe, ale dzięki temu nie uwiodło mnie to całe mydlenie oczu zmianami gitar, przebieranie się, pozowanie. W przypadku tego Artysty zastanawia mnie po co on nagrywa tak często swoje płyty? Jest przeciętnym wokalistą i kompozytorem, jego krążki wypełniają przede wszystkim świetnie odegrane covery. Po jakie licho? JB potrafi zagrać chyba wszystko, ale czegoś mi w nim brakuje (to samo miałem w bluesowo - rockowym wcieleniem Garry Moore'a). JB nie ma tego czaru, który poraża w przypadku Warren'a Haynes'a, czy Derek'a Trucks'a. To tyle.
