Aktualnie gram na SG Epiphone'a Worn G-400 (Brown).
SG powstał w celu poprawienia wygody gry (lżejszy, dwa głębokie wycięcia w korpusie - dojście do wysokich pozycji...). W brzmieniu są podobne, choć SG ma więcej środka, a LP więcej dołu. Wybrzmiewanie gitar długie i raczej można uzależnić od poszczególnego egzemplarza. Wydaje się, że lepsze w LP, a jakiś egzemplarz SG może tę ocenę zmienić.
Grałem na kilku LP i SG - było różnie nawet w Gibsonach. Uważam, że Gibsony LP i SG (oraz pochodne) są stworzone do przesterowań, o czym świadczy wyposażenie w humbuckery, a nie w single.
Piękny clean to wolę ze Strata. Ale każdy gitarzysta ma swoje ucho i potrzeby. Jak ktoś chce kupić, to musi pograć, pomacać, posłuchać. Nigdy nie wiadomo, co ludzie na filmach You Tube wykręcili gałkami.
