Bob Dylan, właśc. Robert Allen Zimmerman (ur. 24 maja 1941 w Duluth) – amerykański piosenkarz, kompozytor, autor tekstów, pisarz i poeta.

Jest jedną z najważniejszych postaci muzyki popularnej ostatnich pięciu dekad. Swój indywidualny styl oparł na wielu gatunkach muzycznych, od tradycyjnego amerykańskiego folku i country bluesa poprzez country do muzyki gospel, rock and rolla, rockabilly, czy angielskiej, szkockiej i irlandzkiej muzyki folkowej, a także jazzu i swingu. Występuje z gitarą akustyczną, elektryczną, keyboardem, harmonijką ustną.

Wczesne utwory Boba Dylana zawierające komentarze społeczne, polityczne, filozoficzne i odwołujące się do literatury ignorowały istniejące konwencje muzyki pop wpisując się w nurt ówczesnej kontrkultury.

Twórca piosenek uznawanych za hymny pokolenia: Blowin' in the Wind, Like a Rolling Stone i protest songów: The Times They Are a-Changin', Hurricane.

Jego twórczość była nagradzana Grammy, Oscarem i Nagrodą Pulitzera. Został kilkakrotnie nominowany do Nagrody Nobla w dziedzinie literatury. W 2009 otrzymał Narodowy Medal Sztuki, a w 2012 – Prezydencki Medal Wolności.

W 1994 Dylan wystąpił na koncertach w Krakowie i Sali Kongresowej, a 7 czerwca 2008 roku w warszawskim klubie Stodoła.

Wczorajsza audycja była powtórkowa. Wracałem z Festiwalu May Blues Meeting w Kożminie Wlkp. Festiwal był rewelacyjny. W najbliższą niedzielę zdam relację. Myślę że zestaw artystów pozostanie bez zmian. Co Wy na to ? Cieszę się że byliście wczoraj :D
