CACTUS - Barely Contained: The Studio Sessions.

- Czyli jedno z moich ulubionych wydawnictw jeśli chodzi o dźwięki podobne do brzmień Led Zeppelin. Bo grupa Cactus to właśnie amerykańska wersja brytyjskich Zeppelinów.
Choć trzeba przyznać, że Mean Night in Cleveland przypomina mi muzykę Skip'a James'a . Jeśli chodzi natomiast o blues-rocka, nie należy zapomnieć o Alasce z drugiego krążka.
Telling You zupełnie jak Your Time Is Gonna Come Led Zeppelin ma charakterystyczne organowe wejście. W My Lady from South of Detroit oraz Song for Aries dostrzegamy dźwięk gitary akustycznej, co w utworach Led Zeppelin również gości często.
Nic dodać, nic ująć; dla prawdziwych fanów Led Zeppelin, Cactus to jazda obowiązkowa, a trzydzieści trzy utwory na Barely Contained dobry początek; ale pozwalając Cactusowi na miano samodzielnej i niezależnej twórczości, należy po prostu spróbować.
