A ja jestem posiadaczem płyty Butlera 'Homeland'. Bardzo sympatyczna rzecz: nowoorleański klawiszowy R&B (w starym znaczeniu tego terminu) z elementami jazzu. Podoba mi się nie tylko jak Butler gra na fortepianie ale również syntezatorach. Z dużym smakiem się nimi posługuje i ma własne brzmienie trochę przypominające mi Zawinula, choć to muzyka kompletnie inna. Szczerze polecam tę płytę, (choć trudno ją dostać - ja upolowałem swoją na allegro). Jedna trzecia to utwory czysto instrumentalne, reszta to piosenki okraszone klawiszowymi popisami. Butler ma zaskakujaco mocny i pewny głos jak na pianistę, choc chwilami trochę za bardzo szarżuje. Ogółem - bardzo jest to wszystko lekkie, ciepłe i momentami taneczne a przy tym nietrywialne. Trochę jakby taki Dr John w pogodniejszej wersji i z dużo gładszym i silniejszym wokalem.
