Słucham sobie od wczoraj jednego albumu, który ciekawie wpisuje się obraz muzycznego przemysłu XXI wieku. Ciekawie a co najważniejsze pod wieloma względami wybija się i cieszy, że takie rzeczy wciąż powstają.
T-Model Ford to artysta o słusznym już wieku, olbrzymim doświadczeniu i świadomości, że niczego nikomu nie musi udowadniać. Posiada tez jednak świeżość i swobodę o której wielu mogłoby pomarzyć. I słychać to na ostatniej jego płycie, pochodzącej z tego roku. Nagranej w zaledwie jeden wieczór niemalże z biegu, bez poprawek czy upiększeń.
Płyta urzekła mnie od pierwszych sekund. Nie ma tu wirtuozerii, niepotrzebnych dźwięków jest za to pasja, oszczędne nieomal ascetyczne granie, Ford i jego gitara a także nienachalny akompaniament drugiej gitary Aarona Morelanda oraz subtelnej harmonijki Dustina Arbuckle'a.
