Osoby znające ten zespół (czyli np. tzw. manniacy-ciemniacy ) wiedzą czego można się spodziewać po Indigenous. Rock podszyty bluesem, melodyjny, gitarowy (tylko czasami jakiś keyboard się ujawnia), z charakterystycznym brzmieniem głosu lidera (Mato Nanji) i z jego bluesrockowymi gitarowymi solówkami.
I na najnowszej płycie mamy właśnie to, czego można było oczekiwać. Może nie jest aż tak przebojowa jak tak pierwsza z 1998 roku, ale to nadal ten klimat. Chociaż to już właściwie inny zespół - tylko lider się ostał z pierwszego składu - brzmienie mamy to samo, a dzięki chórkom żony Mato, Leah, można pomyśleć że to Wanbdi (siostra Mato) powróciła.
